Comment on Late Philhealth Payments — Can I Make Retroactive Payments? by Nora
Hi Taurustaurus11, yes, you can continue your Philhealth membership. Just go to any Philhealth branch with your ID and at least 600 pesos (to pay for Apr to Jun) or 1200 to pay for Apr to Sept. Fill up the PMRF form, submit, and when processed, get your MDR and your card. Bring your Philhealth no. if you know, and if not, Philhealth will give you your no.
Comment on SSS Pension Adjustment for 1985 to 1989 by Nora
Hi Rose, this is how SSS computes pension: http://www.workingpinoy.com/2014/01/how-to-compute-sss-pension/ You can wait for the 1985 to 1989 adjustment to be completed, hopefully by Dec 2015, and then if you still have doubts about your pension amount, you can request for recomputation.
Comment on Pag-ibig Fund — How to Claim Death Benefits by Nora
Hi marilou, yes, the claimant needs to submit all the required claim documents, even if the amount to be claimed is small. That’s why cost of documents need to be controlled. For example, if the total contributions is only 1k, the death benefit is also 1k, for a total of 2k. Death benefit is 6k, if total contributions is 6k or more.

Hi Ms. Nora, Just want to ask you. Can we receive money thru bank to bank transaction. From Philippines to Saudi Arabia. BPI(Philippines) to NCB(Saudi Arabia) account. Please Advise. Thank you! Best Regards!

Hi Allen, yes. Your sender should have a BPI bank account (either peso or dollar account), so he/she can go to BPI and apply for wire transfer to NCB Saudi Arabia.

Ms nora. The father of my child died on march 12 2015. Can I file my claim next year? I’m currently abroad
Comment on Pag-ibig Fund — How to Claim Death Benefits by Nora
Hi leah, yes, but if you’re not married to your child’s father, and he’s single, the other primary claimants are his parents. It’s with SSS that your child is the sole primary beneficiary, if your child is under 21 and your child is his only child.

Comment on BDO Bank Rules — Banco de Oro Updates, Reminders by Ren
Hi. Nabago na ba ang policies ng BDO for withdrawal through representative? Cause before, nakakawithdraw kami ng isa lang ung may pirma, second to the top line which was signed by the account holder. Now my aunt was insisting na hind na daw ganun yung policies, that the first line has to be signed by the account holder as well. I called one branch sa Makati, they said the policies didn’t change, and that means, only one signature is needed (2nd line). So has it been changed? Thank you and God bless.
